The package consists of the following courses:
- Basic Food Safety (1 hour)
- Cognitive Impairment/Mental Illness (5 hours)
- Emergency/Disaster Planning (2 hours)
- Fire/Life Safety (2 hours)
- Health and Psychosocial Needs of Older Adults (2.5 hours)
- Infection Control/Standard Precautions (2 hours)
- Resident Assessments and Service Plans (1 hour)
- Resident Rights (1 hour)
These training courses are designed to meet the initial training requirements for new assisted living staff per COMAR 10.07.14.19.
